Set to debut at the New York International Auto Show in April, Chevrolet is unveiling a weekly teaser about the 2016 Malibu each week leading up to the debut.
Starting from a blank slate, Chevrolet is touting the Malibu’s new sleek look among these other features (so far):
- Wheelbase is nearly 4″ longer than previous model years
- Longer wheelbase allows for added rear legroom and interior space
- Roofline has been stretched rearward giving a sleeker profile
- Front wheels have moved forward
- Front and rear overhangs have been reduced
- Styling is meant to make the Malibu “more dynamic and sophisticated”
The 2016 Malibu is expected to go on sale by the end of 2015.
